Since 1988, the County Commission has been composed of seven members. The Chairman is elected at-large (elected by voters from the entire County). Six Commissioners are elected by voters in each of the County’s six districts. All serve four-year terms.

The Commission meets every other Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Commission Chambers on the 7th floor of the Madison County Courthouse, 100 North Side Square, Huntsville, Alabama, 35801.

The Madison County Commission, in a partnership with Huntsville City Schools, broadcasts the Commission meetings live here every other Wednesday at 10:00 am.  You can also catch a re-broadcast of the meetings each Wednesday night at 6:00 pm, Fridays at 10:00 am, and Sundays at 3:00 pm.
